This year I had the great honour of chairing The Drum Roses Awards, which awards creative work from outside the M25. The judging was certainly a day of intense discussions, and for those who made the shortlist, congratulations!
I feel very honoured to have made The Dots “200 Women Redefining the Creative Industry” list for International Women’s Day! Thank you to the amazing Ali Hannan, founder of Creative Equals, for nominating me and The Dots for the inspiring list.

I’m extremely honoured to have been named a judge for the 2018 Creativepool Annual in the “Graphic” category. Judging starts in February and winners will be announced. The full press release can be found below.
This September I travelled to Exeter for the Like Minds Festival’s “From Startup to Scaleup – How to Build Your Business & Brand” where I gave a keynote talk along with speakers from LEGO, Amazon Alexa, LinkedIn, and The Beano. Exeter is such a vibrant city, it was my first time there and definitely not my last! Thank you to Drew Ellis and his incredible team at LikeMinds for inviting me to speak this year.
I was invited to be a keynote speaker at Collaborate Bristol this June by Nomensa. My talk was on the power of creating a personality for your brand, and why you need to infuse that personality right through ever touchpoint of your brand that your customers interact with. I came away from the event with loads of new ideas, some amazing contacts and some amazing sketchnotes of my talk!
I was very honoured to have been selected to be a judge for the D&AD digital jury this year. D&AD are an organisation I work with regularly at MOO and the annual festival is definitely a highlight of my year. Over the course of 3 days our international digital panel judged hundreds of entries. There was lots of great discussion and some heated debates to get us to the final pencil winners. On the last day of the festival I sat on a discussion panel, with Nick Turner from Sapient Razorfish and Xavier Barrade from Google Labs, to talk about our favourite and most memorable entries.
